Pylon – Middleware for Digital Businesses
Three solutions in one package – API Gateway, Insurance Business Middleware and Visitor Tracking System.
API Throttling
Expose and control your APIs by restricting number of calls per client app, per day, per source IP and so on. Even by the server CPU and memory utilization and availability. For instance, in case the server resources are unavailable, the system automatically restricts the number of services per IP address.
Real Time Server logs
Admin Panel shows real time server logs for all activities. The logs are maintained in standard logging format such as error, debug, info and so on. These logs can be reviewed and the server can be monitored in real time using the admin interface.
API Usage Report
Detailed usage reports are available in real time in Pylon admin panel. These reports are generated and can be filtered by each Service Account, by each API and date-wise. Information such as request payload, response payload, API status, time duration etc. are available in the usage reports.
Visitor Tracking
The JavaScript SDK of Pylon seamlessly embeds in the front-end code (web or mobile) and tracks the user/visitor coming into the site or app. Pylon back-end analyzes and de-duplicates the visitor fingerprints, identifies the visitor and reconciles all the visitor related profile and information.
Service Accounts
Manage which applications can call your APIs. Which APIs are allowed to be called, how many number times different APIs can be called per day, per hour, from different IP sources. Each registered service account is provided with application credentials and OAuth token generation key pairs.
Journey Tracking
Pylon JavaScript SDK tracks progress of all the journeys being executed in various front end channels, performs auditing and logs all the changes. In case of dropped journeys, the engine identifies the leads/customers and escalates to the configured CRM or any other relevant systems in real time.
Built-In Integrations
A number of integrations are in-built and ready to use from day one, after due configurations of subscription accounts. Some of the default integrated systems are UIDAI, NSDL, Cibil, Fastlane, Vahan, Salesforce, Alexa, Google Assistant, Whatsapp, Liferay and so on.
Protocol Support
Pylon gateway supports wide variety of standard integration protocols such as HTTP/S, FTP, REST, SOAP, Web sockets and so on. The framework comes up with integration capabilities with almost all standard RDBMS and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
